In a hard fought, physical battle against Brockworth the Breamers fell short and were unable to keep to their winning ways. With four key players out, Bream struggled to keeep structure, yet the first half was certainly better for the away side and they only trailed 15 -9 at the half time break. However some poor mistakes in the second half saw the home team run in a couple of tries. Missed tackles, poor offloading and woeful discipline gave Brockworth penalties in key areas. With missing players the set piece plays were certainly not up to scratch. Some positives to come out of the game was great ball carrying by the likes of Hugh Gibbs & Dan Gamlin. For the Bulldogs it's on to the next job, fixing the mistakes at training this week and moving on to the next challenge in two weeks at home to Cainscross. Big shoutout to our United, who saw off Gordon League 2's at home and continue their unbeaten run of the 2019 / 2020 season.
