This Saturday "The Breamers" saw off a young, physical Bredon Star side, in their first game of the 2019 / 2020 campaign.
As always, the first home fixture of the season starts with a minutes silence in memory of Brian Hancock, a club legend.
Hard running, ballsy defence and very good team attacking play saw the home team run in a total of seven tries against the youngsters. Although this may of seemed a one sided affair, Bredon did score a penalty and a converted try in the first half and didn't give up until the final whistle. We wish them all the best for the new season and look forward to the return fixture at their place early next year...
We go again in two weeks time, away to Brockworth...
